How our pricing works
We don’t publish price lists, and here’s why: a number on a website is a guess until we’ve seen your lock. We’d rather quote your actual job honestly than advertise a “from” price that evaporates on arrival.
What affects your quote
Every quote is built from the same handful of factors. Understanding them helps you describe your job accurately — and spot a bad quote from anyone else.
- The job type. An urgent locksmith call-out, a car key replacement in Dubai Marina and installing a smart lock are different jobs with different labour and parts.
- The lock and door. A standard apartment cylinder vs a high-security or smart lock; a wooden door vs a reinforced one. Photos help — send one on WhatsApp and we can often identify it.
- Parts needed. If a cylinder, key blank or lock body has to be replaced, the part itself is part of the quote. We tell you which part and why.
- Complexity on site. A straightforward opening vs a damaged lock, a lost-all-keys car, or a safe with a dead electronic lock. We’ll explain what we’re dealing with before quoting.
- Timing. Emergency calls at awkward hours can cost more — ask when you call and we’ll be straight about whether it applies.
How a quote works, step by step
- You call +971 52 642 6161 and describe the problem and your location.
- We ask a few questions — door or car type, what’s wrong, what you’ve already tried.
- We give you a clear price for the job as described. No “we’ll see when we get there”.
- If the job turns out different on arrival, we re-quote before touching anything. You decide.
- We do the work, you test everything, then you pay the quoted price.
Red flags — from anyone, including us
Hold any locksmith to this standard:
- A quote that changes the moment they arrive, with no good explanation.
- Drilling your lock as the first move instead of the last resort.
- No questions about whether it’s actually your property. (Here’s how locksmiths verify ownership before opening a door.)
- Pressure to decide on the spot, or “today only” pricing.

Pricing questions
Why don’t you list prices on the website?
Because a number on a website is a guess until we’ve seen the lock. A standard apartment door and a high-security cylinder are different jobs with different costs. We’d rather quote your actual situation on the call than publish a number that turns out to be wrong.
How does your quoting work?
You describe the problem — what kind of door or car, what’s wrong with it, where you are. We give you a clear price before starting. If we arrive and the job is different from what you described, we re-quote and you decide. No work starts without your yes.
What makes one locksmith job cost more than another?
The lock type, the door or car, whether parts are needed, and the complexity of the job. Emergency timing can matter too — ask when you call and we’ll be straight about it.
What are red flags in locksmith pricing?
Vague quotes that change on arrival, drilling your lock as the first option instead of the last, and pressure to decide on the spot. A proper locksmith explains the price, explains the method, and lets you say no.
Do you charge for the call-out if I decide not to go ahead?
Ask us when you call and we’ll tell you plainly how it works for your situation. We don’t do surprise charges — if there’s a call-out fee, you’ll know before we dispatch.
